Upload what you have. We draft. You review, edit, approve. Your team finish on their phone.
You've explained how the coffee machine works 14 times this year.
And it's only April.
What hospitality businesses pour into training every new starter. Most of it is repeating what you already explained to the last one.
One-off in-person training sticks about as well as tissue paper. Without a second touch, most of what you explained is gone by tomorrow's shift.
No record. No way to prove training happened. And when something goes wrong, "I thought we'd covered that" doesn't cut it.

Things people ask before signing up.
Do my staff need an account?
No. They get a link via email or SMS, tap it, and learn. No app, no password, no onboarding friction. Managers have accounts — staff don’t need one.
How long does it actually take to set up?
First module: about 10 minutes. Upload a handbook or paste a URL, review the AI draft, hit send. The hard part is deciding what to train on first — the rest is done for you.
Is my content used to train AI?
No. Your uploaded documents and training modules are never used to train any model. They stay in your account, in Sydney, and nothing leaves without your say-so.
What if the AI gets something wrong?
You review every draft before staff see it. Click any line to edit. Regenerate lessons that miss the point. Nothing goes out without your approval — you’re the editor, not the AI.
Can I white-label it or use my own branding?
Training sent to staff carries your business name, not ShiftReady. Full white-label (custom domain, your logo on the learner screen) is on the roadmap for the Team plan — no firm date yet.
What about compliance / RSA / food safety?
ShiftReady tracks the certs you and your staff hold — you upload the cert (RSA, white card, food handling, first aid, forklift, driver licence, work rights, etc.) with its expiry date, and the Compliance dashboard surfaces anything expired or expiring in 30 days. Auto-emails the manager (and staff, on the friendly tiers) at 30/14/7 days and again on expiry. We don’t issue the certs themselves — keep using your accredited provider for that.
How do post-shift check-ins work?
After their shift, staff tap a link and pick a mood (good / ok / rough), optionally tag what was rough (coffee machine, EFTPOS, customers, opening list, food cabinet, cleaning, or other), and shout out a teammate. You see a heatmap in the manager portal — if "EFTPOS" keeps coming back rough, that’s where your training is leaking. Two taps, no app, no account.
How does ShiftReady handle the cost of AI?
Module drafting uses Claude Haiku via the Anthropic API under zero-retention terms. Every generation is logged with input/output tokens, latency, and cost in AUD cents. There’s a hard daily AI spend cap per business (default $20/day) so a runaway loop can’t bleed your account. You won’t see surprise charges — the price on the box is the price.
What happens after the trial?
14 days free. Card on file at signup so there’s no break in service on day 15, but nothing charges until the trial ends. Cancel any time before then and you pay nothing.
