ShiftReady is a training tool for Australian small businesses. We built it because one of us spent ten years running a cafe and kept explaining the same things to every new starter — the grind rules, the closing checklist, where the spare gas bottle lives.

The idea is simple. Upload your handbook, closing procedure, safety doc — whatever you already have. We draft the training. You review it and hit send. Your staff finish it on their phone before their first shift. No app to install, no account to create, no friction.

Who's behind it

ShiftReady is built by a small team in South-East Queensland. We also run a retail business — Custom Favours — so the product is shaped by the same day-to-day chaos our customers live in: staff turnover, short attention, and no time to write training decks.

Why we exist

Hospitality, retail, trades, fitness — the industries we serve pour around 25 hours of training into every new hire, and most of it is the owner repeating what they told the last one. Staff forget 70% of an in-person brief within 24 hours. There's usually no paper trail when something goes wrong.

We think a training tool should do three things: draft fast, stick better than a one-off verbal walk-through, and leave a record. That's the whole product.
